Transaction Background
– Druk Pak, the company listed on the Warsaw Stock Exchange, is a leading Polish packaging manufacturer for the pharmaceutical industry, with a strong position in international markets owing to the high quality of its products and top production standards.
– The owner – the investment fund Penton Partners, having for many years successfully restructured the company and turned it into a European leader in pharma packaging, decided to sell 100% of its shares.
– Penton Partners invited CIC Corporate Finance to manage the sales process.
Our Role
– Detailed analysis of the strengths and weaknesses of the company to select an optimal investor.
– Shortlisting the most appropriate financial and industry investors from Poland and Western Europe.
– Managing the competitive investor sourcing process.
– Managing and closing the transaction process.
Results
– Penton Partners sells 100% of the shares owned (85% of total Druk Pak stock) to the Highlander Partners fund.
– Druk Pak obtains a very attractive valuation, totaling PLN 96 million.
– Highland Partners creates one of the largest Polish packaging groups by including Druk Pak in its portfolio company’s – Akomex – capital group.
